Edamo, re:<< the only thing on the horizon that can cause a massive change in direction is dell....should dell blow out not just profits but revenues...the herd, can no longer find fault, the growth is growing and they'll come stampeding back to dell, intc, msft, et al....>> I not so sure that Dell's shoulders are big enough to carry this off. To reverse this sector rotation, I think the trick will lie with the analysts and their leading the herd back to the techs. I can see the analysts saying Dell had a blow out quarter...top, middle, and bottom line. However, the industry in general is "dying"...soft sales, dropping asp's, etc, etc. I'm concerned there will be a long wait for a return to the techs...getting y2k behind us, international sales growing, Europe showing signs of growing again, and the impact of the sub 1K pc's being resolved.

Hope my gloom and doom is off target...but, that's how I see things for the moment.
