Could someone with knowledge of level 2 help me out here? Toward the end of the day I put in a bid for 800 shares at 9 9/16 when the bid-ask was 9 1/2 - 9 3/4. I quickly got filled for 100 shares. About five minutes later, a 500 share sale at 9 9/16 was printed, but I didn't get it (I was still the only bid on the level 2 screen). Then somebody joined me on the bid for 300 shares. So a few minutes later, I put in a bid at 9 5/8 for 300 shares. A few minutes later, a 500 share trade for 9 5/8 was printed, also not mine despite my bid being alone on the level 2. What is the most likely explanation for what happened? Thanks.
