Thanks for correct me. That is not matter, actually.

The fact the matter is that e-commerce potential.

This few days are correction mode, like BII, like NASDAQ,

NASQA down -70 yesterday, this moring up 20 then down -65 then back down only -39 RTQ.

Go figure.

Games Trader Inc. Completes Special Unit Issue

TORONTO, ONTARIO--

Not for distribution to U.S. newswire services or dissemination into the United States

Games Trader Inc. is pleased to announce that it has completed the previously announced private placement through Yorkton
Securities Inc., as underwriter, of 4,500,000 special units at a price of $3.15 per special unit for net proceeds of $13,041,000.

Each special unit is convertible into one common share of the Corporation and one-half of one common share purchase warrant
of the Corporation. The proceeds of the issue are being held in escrow pending clearance by the Corporation on or before July
15, 1999 of a prospectus to be filed with respect to the private placement.

The net proceeds will be used to fund acquisitions, implementation of the Corporation's e-commerce initiative and to provide
for additional working capital.

GTR is a leading supplier of value-priced, previously played video games for Nintendo, Sega and Sony video games systems to
mass merchant retailers and specialty retailers in the United States and Canada. The shares of Games Trader Inc. are listed on
