I haven't seen any news in particular other than the sell off in NASDAQ as most all of the tech stocks are down substantially.I guess there is no reason other than some are dumping out of fear, imagined or otherwise. If it is any consolation looks like the volume is rather thin so it might not be a broad based selling, perhaps lot of individual traders creating havoc.I could be totally off base here but that is my take nonetheless.

John,

Beside the NASDAQ general sell-off, STK is warning that their earnings are well below estimates, and EMC was downgraded this morning to "Hold" from "Buy" by NationsBanc Montgomery. STK and EMC are, of course, in the same storage sector as NTAP and NTAP is down in sympathy. However, there seems to be nothing bad that is NTAP-specific. STK does not have a good track record like NTAP or EMC. This is the second time this year that STK warned; they warned in January about Q4 while NTAP and EMC did well. I expect NTAP to recover.

Regards,

Hisham
