If you enjoy the blues, I see no reason why a careful selection of rock should not have a certain appeal. There is a great deal of pure drivel, though, so selection is everything. Cannabis fosters greater appreciation of music, food, and sex. I'm not sure why that is so, but it certainly is so. I doubt that it would foster appreciation of the stock market, though the combination is one I have yet to try. Atmosphere, at times, is everything. I always enjoyed reggae music, but never understood what it can be until listening to live performance, on an island beneath a full moon, under a variety of influences. There is something tribal about it; the body moves of its own accord, without conscious volition, and everyone present becomes, in a real but temporary sense, a single organism. Magic, really, I don't pretend to understand it. It is not something one understands, though it is an experience worth having.
