sorry, you guys that are bearish or shorts are all wrong. look at there growth rate. people dont want to pick up the phone and make trades. they earned 60,000 new customers this past quarter. that is just the begining. there are millions and millions more people using the internet. amtd will benefit from convenience and value. in the short term though, the technology is not good enough for any e-broker to have a efficient service. but, in the next few years, with cable, etc.. it will be. and ameritrade will still be growing at 100 % +.

I made decent money on shorting AMTD from $150. Now I am long AMTD and expect AMTD to rally with the rest of OLB stcoks after such a sharp decline. I hope you have made a few peso on shorting (did you do that?) AMTD since you are so negative about AMTD.
