GM,re:"What has changed?". Nothing, just WAR-TAX and someone has to pay. It's a tempoarary 're-allocation of funds' to the priority area until we print more money to cover it. Don't worry, the poor-man's inflation's index is still in check. The rich-man's inflation index is, WELL, depending on the performance of the stock (financial assets). History just keep repeating itself in different form.
