Anglo-American press "briefings" yesterday stretched credibility beyond the breaking point. Who would believe that "any" trained military would NOT take cover and start killing civilians while under air attack. The Pentagon spokesman (USAF general) admitted to Ted Koppel last night on Nightline that the NATO planes were flying on a <<CLOSE GROUND-SUPPORT>> mission. Indirect admission that either US troops are already on the ground in Yugoslavia or flying air cover for the KLA. The clearly embarased general could explain himself out of those 3 words.
