re: stupid questions from traders

I tried to buy a large block of GLE at market at 7 minutes to closing as it had jumped a buck in five minutes. By the time I got through their voice mail and infinite hold, I was still able to place my order on time.

The trader asked me if I was sure and went on about how it was a risky investment, up 400% already, etc. and my order went in one second after closing.

I tried to get in at opening Monday, but it gapped.

Again, I say there is room for a real time brokerage service where you can catch fast moving stocks.

My other complaint is that if you sell a position on the TD web broker, it doesn't recognise that you have cash in your account until the next day and you have to use the voice broker with the higher commission.
