HAS. . .Hasbro on Star Wars play and on unusual volume hitting two days in a row on no news. IFCI. . International Fibrecom. . .buys and leases fibre-optics lines. . . AFCI is an alternative in same basket. ABH. . .American Banknote. . makes the holograms for credit cards, etc. . we discussed this several months back as an incredible undervalued gem. FBG. . .Friedman Billings Ramsey announced they would sell Initial Public Offerings via their own online brokerage, now under construction. . . swing trade. Increased CHRZ. . .up another dollar. . that's a dollar a day for four days in a row, in anticipation of next week's earnings report. One analyst placed their value at 65 dollars just before their decline from 40 to 10. Other "Rocks" that I am waiting on bottoms include T, LU, MOT, NDB, MCD, FDX, WMT, ATHM, SEEK, WMB, CPQ, WHX . SOLD: Sold last position in SIEB into morning strength. Sold more of ATHM, ORCTF on preservation of capital. . holding rest. Yesterday sold all of NDB, DCLK, TFSM HOLD: Still holding SEEK, WSTL, OMKT, CDNW, NBTY, IRSN, BDE, WAVO, AXC, OMX and group of "regular" longs. Watching closely for signs of direction TUNE, IDTC, OMKT Watching and holding on sudden increased activity. . .SPLH, DBRSY, HDWY Not watching the under 2 dollar group today, though I will be the second that the market calms down a bit. . . I keep my eye on the stocks with the most invested. I did not and will not buy the fast moving old guard, like paper, aluminum or other basic material stocks. . .I don't trust the moves. The gains that could be made, have been made. I am looking for those long overlooked undervalued companies that have a good chance of seeing big gains for one or more reasons. Rande Is
