kathyh, ptek sounds interesting, but what about the float?

MSFT is very shrewd, buy folks so others won't get them
also, in this case would be buying imho an asset that would increase solely by purchases of outside investors--they probably have price set which may not be influences by runup eom

MSFT is desperately trying to get into tv/telephony because Internet Explorer and PC will be replaced by the cellphone and tv imho
This trend also will be a BIG problem for the portals which are visual in orientation and browswer based.

MSFT had the world by the 'WINDOWS', lost it to Netscape, got it back, lost it to Yahoo and AOL and is losing it again to:

ATT/@home/Excite in traditional channels
Symbian and Unwired Planet in the 'new media'

FWIW, mho good luck ynot :)

PS if you see a float number I may jump in anyway for a quck turn !

Bought PTEK 15 3/4. thanks, Kathy. How much does PTEK own in WebMD? I know WebMd is going to have an IPO agreement with Etrade, just as PriceLine and ValueAmerica did.
