This is one wild day. Based on the JDS CC everything for the next 18-24 months looks fine. They hired 900 employees this Q that is from 2400 to 3300 employees in 90 days, WOW. A point was made that the productivity of the new employees will improve over time. My translation is even with the cost associated with this kind of increased employment JDS still had great #'s for the Q. Looking for a increasing roll in submarine cable crossing Customers: JDS has 4 clients who contribute in the 10-20% range of revenue for the company. Two at around 10% and two around 15% Clients also are increasing demand for quicker turnaround time with orders and also more clients are entering the field and purchasing from JDS. This has caused the company to be more sensitive to quicker response to demand. Note: they are now running at ~ five times turn rate for inventory. Challanges for JDS: Growth within the company Robustness of growth in the industry. (very strong) Product cycle time compression. Everything is moving faster. Understanding future needs of clients.
