Sam,

Do you see 5 or 6 bucks in SanDisk's future? Well, if we get there then they can buy back shares to fund the options program rather than diluting the stock further. We are pushing 30 million shares as it is already.

Let's talk about the upcoming proxy vote...

Art brought this issue up during the c.c. The stock will be diluted if the measure is passed, but growth will apparently keep in step or surpass the dilution. Well, one can always hope. That is a forward looking statement if I ever heard one.

As a small, unimportant individual investor I am upset that they haven't taken advantage of the market lunacy (like the stock selling at well below book value last October) to buy back shares with the large amount of cash they are sporting on the books.

Management needs to earn its keep. October was a huge opportunity that was lost. I bought at least 30% of my position between $6 and 10 dollars in October and November of 1998. At the same time management sat back and scratched their asses about the whole situation.

STOP SCRATCHING YOUR ASSES!!! IT IS JUST NOT POLITE.
