Hard to believe Viagra went from $236 last quarter to $193 this quarter?? Also,

'The Company's rate of earnings growth in the second quarter compared to the same period in 1998 will be significantly
affected by the large initial trade stocking and sales of Viagra, which occurred in the second quarter of 1998 when the product
was first launched, and continued strong investment in both R&D and product support,'' Mr. Shedlarz said. ''As a result of
these and other factors, Pfizer expects the percentage growth in second quarter 1999 diluted EPS to be in the single-digit
range, relative to 1998 diluted EPS excluding the impact of certain significant charges and the divested Medical Technology
Group.

''Despite the unique circumstances that will affect second-quarter growth, we believe our full-year 1999 growth prospects
remain solid,'' Mr. Shedlarz said. ''For the full year, we are comfortable with the current range of the majority of analysts'
estimates for diluted EPS of $2.40 to $2.50, representing 20- to 25-percent growth relative to 1998 diluted EPS excluding the
impact of certain significant charges and the divested Medical Technology Group.''
