MB - (It IS amazing that the CC would be PC-Centric, as only 80% of Intel's revenues and 90% of their profits are PC related. )

As a data point of information, which you may feel free to ignore (g), the weakness in PC's does not seem to be extending out into the general electronics market at this time. This is based on the LLTC conference call which reports strong bookings growth and a positive near term outlook. Since LLTC's business is highly diversified with only a slight exposure to desktop PC's, and runs relatively lean, it seems to provide a picture of the current general health of the electronics manufacturing business, not responding much to customer and product specific problems. The past two downturns indicate that the company outlook should be a useful business indicator for about 2 months after an earnings report. As for the stock, it is quite over-priced, although its fundamentals are much better than many other stocks with a 50 PE on the current year. -g-
