Good idea. Let us know what you find. There's some pickup in the volume today. Interesting.

Funny you should mention it that there didn't seem to be anyone at Metroplus. I was in Lake Elsinore Cal last October and Called Larry to have a chat about the two companies. I only owned NPEC at the time, so naturally, I wanted specific answers about this company. First, I tried to find the phone number of the office, not listed. So I went down to 148 Main Street and you know, didn't appear that anybody was working there. An old run down building with a desk and old table with 4 chairs. The condition of the furniture was like you would find in the back corner of the local Thrift store. Really beat up on the verge of breaking. Anyway, I asked him why there was no NP Energy sign on the door and why the phone # was unlisted. He said "We don't do any business out of this office" We did some chatting about NPEC, not much to say for the future of the company, kinda kept steering me toward Medinah and how exciting the end of '98 and '99 would be. Basically told me that the stock was pretty much dependent on MDIN pulling it up, when the ore body was proven. Didn't know what the ore was, only that it was huge! He did say Metroplus was going good and profitable, but pretty much everything else was dead, hadn't heard from Brazil in 6 months. Couldn't verify if anybody was working down there. (no gold) The Equador oil partnership was a bust because the partner went broke and had no assets. Trying to cut another deal. (no oil) Silver mine would need capital and I got the impression they really had no money to work the mine. (no silver) Maybe when the restrictions come off the Medinah shares, they'll have working capital. I get the feeling that somehow, we the investors are going to get very little benefit from these 18m MDIN shares. We'll see, huh? So, to make a long story short, I wasn't impressed at all. The only reason I haven't dumped all my shares is because MDIN could be a BIG payday and I have been here over two years, still hoping not to take a loss on NPEC.

Good luck with your investments.

My opinion about a PR ? It makes no damn difference whether we get one today, next week, or next month. Either you believe in the company and management, or you do not . Based on my DD , I do. I keep buying at this level. Far too many " bashers " here now . Obvious , from their shallow posts, they have done no DD. **** Consider this point, and this point alone : Suppose NPEC had no other divisions at all, yet still owned 20 % of MDIN. What is current price of MDIN ? What do you think, based on that alone , would NPEC be worth ? Now factor in Metroplus, Wash. silver, and Brazil. Come on, lets get OBJECTIVE here !

Gome, I was not going to post this as I know it will bring out the " bashers ", but I have been informed that we can expect 3 PR's in the next 2 weeks. One on telecommunications. One on Washington property . One on Brazil property. I am going to call IR today, and tell them that if these PR's are not forthcoming , I believe the company will lose some creditability. Even MAGGIE's patience can be strained . I am still very positive and confident, but really would like to see something soon. I continue to add. MAGGIE

" . You have no objective basis for saying anything with regard to this
thread. " **** I guess if you do not consider hours and hours of DD and effort , an " objective basis ", then you are correct.

Let me make a suggestion. For those who have done no DD and do not believe that NPEC is a solid little company, why not just sell your shares and move on. Its as simple as that.

Win-Lose-Draw:

The weird thing is that there is nothing on or inside the building that identifies it in any way as the galactic HQ for Metroplus. I mean, *nothing*. No sign outside, nothing in the windows, no brochures in the reception area...nothing. Maybe I'll do a quick search to see if any other companies have the same address...

Garyb:

I have been in NPEC for a long time and have not done the right DD or good DD. I will admit relying on some others info to help make my decision. I could have sold at a loss on these last shares that I own but hang on hoping for a break even.

I do get mad at people who continue to hype the stock and criticize people who asks questions. I have made phone calls !!!!! I am on Dave's list and read all the e-mails from him. But it sure looks like that W-L-D and Garyb did some DD on their own. I sure don't like what they posted !!!!!! It sure makes me wonder just what we have here!!!!!! Do we have a ligitamate company??????

Ken Moss
