Scumbria, Disagree with you about the amd chips being superior to intel...you get what you pay for IMO. If intel makes no $$ on celerons, don't you think AMD will be out of business soon since they ONLY have a low end biz?

I was simply making the point that, no matter HOW people get on the net, whether through a "free PC" or not, the industry leaders INTEL and DELL will ultimately benefit as people trade up to achieve more functionality, particularly on the net.

You sound like an INTEL skeptic...I encourage you not to be...I am rich because of this amazing company and they are going nowhere but up in the future IMO. Then again, Mr. Niles probably lacks friends at this point if you are interested ... (GG)

Are you saying that AMD chips do contribute to AMD's bottom line?
