Just bought quite a few may 90 calls and lots of Jan'00 calls for the earnings rally anticipation in MSFT. Let's see if the probability based on the past trend holds up this time in msft.
Generally speaking, I tend to see patterns and trends more predictable when they are regarding something related to behavior of the population as a whole or any kind of creation by humans. We tend to adore patterns, symmetry and the likes rather than keep ourselves open to random events.
I expect 10-15% runup in MSFT in one to two weeks.
