I am a subscriber to that theory as well. The fact that an employee might be responsible makes it even more likely.

My theory is that this was not a bogus story, it was too professionally written. I think it was a draft or work in progress that we were not supposed to see yet.

How about Dewey/Truman? Still up in the air on that one?

Long time lurker who finally broke down and paid the SI reg. fee. Who would have guessed that a bogus Pair story would be the catalyst! Jay, I have been long Pair for a few years, and I feel your pain. My average is $20! Luckily it not one of my primary holdings.

Anyway, I also subscribe to Bob's theory, but the question now is will the deal go through given the info is public albeit not substantiated? I think the SEC might have something to say about it.
