Jenna: ASTN look at 4 days of undiminished accumulation.

quote.yahoo.com

Are you familiar with Ashton Technologies?

What do you think of their Gomez.com and the plans for their IPO spin-off this year?

gomez.com
"Gomez Advisors continues to be cited as the leading authority on the Internet brokerage industry.  This Securities Industry News article includes comments from Gomez principals John Robb and Dr. Alexander Stein"

Also from their 4/7 press release:

"the SEC has granted approval to the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Inc. to operate UTTC's volume weighted average price (VWAP®) trading system (VTS(tm)). UTTC is preparing for customer Beta testing prior to live operation of VTS. "

Solid revenue streams. Stock trading at only 76.6m market cap.

I like your NITE May 90 call purchase. I bought
the stock at 90, tried and missed at 80 5/8. I've
been selling NITE the past few days, always seeing
it go higher. But that's what you gotta do if
you're a trader, sell into strength...wait for a nice sell-off with all the attendent volume and gnashing of teeth...to build or re-build a position. Sometimes you don't get the sell-off and and you either get back in or choose no to play.

But here's the sell-off. For the trader the play is pretty clear

Hey, it's only an opinion - that's why SI exists. I think that the possibility of a major Internet stock warning one of these quarters is very real. If you look at the market in terms of risk/reward at these levels, then one might come to that conclusion. For example, a company like MindSpring that will not see profits for two years could be regarded as very risky at these levels.

Some of the replies to my posting are very typical reactions because people tend to regard short-selling as negative or anti-business. This market has been great on the long side because you can day-trade and get all of your money back at the end of the day without the risk that some external event will crush you in the morning.

As far as this thread being a forum for manipulation, I completely agree. In the context of the Market Gems picks, perhaps you could publish a complete track record with all of your entry and exit signals instead of publishing your best trades, subtle manipulation in and of itself.
