What prompted me to short yhoo is what I consider the utter contempt yhoo mgmt expressed toward their share holders by paying $5B plus for each of geocities and bcst. Combined those two non-profit organizations would cost about $100 million to replicate. That tells me yahoo mgmt places a very low value on their stock. And who am I to argue with that.

IMHO, the so called fundamentals of both Amzn/Yhoo rests heavily on the shoulders of the 9M on-line trading accounts..and booming on-line trading activities..

All the fingers that are touching the key boards are not in search of "investments" but "trading for quick $$$". The actions are where the actions are...However....
