That shows to me that he's willing to put his butt on the line for Merced. <As you know the K8 is already well down the design path. It may well come out by end of 2000.> You know something about the K8 that we don't? Meanwhile, I know something about Intel's long-term plans, which include both IA-64 and IA-32. Let's just say that never before have I seen so many project names listed on one foil at a time. Merced, McKinley, Willamette, and Foster are only the beginning of those plans. Tenchusatsu
