Well, Craig Barrett himself said that Merced samples will be here in three to four months. That shows to me that he's willing to put his butt on the line for Merced.

You know something about the K8 that we don't?

Meanwhile, I know something about Intel's long-term plans, which include both IA-64 and IA-32. Let's just say that never before have I seen so many project names listed on one foil at a time. Merced, McKinley, Willamette, and Foster are only the beginning of those plans.
