John : I wouldn't be surprised if, by means of some fancy footwork, the proceeds of the gold sales is used to finance the Balkans expedition.

In fact, Albania is probably the most needy of all the poor countries! Needs bases, tanks, weapons, rockets, cruise missiles etc etc. Not to mention some fat salaries for the politicians. And the NATO boys. A billion or two would go down very nicely --- thank you very much.

Who says the Yugoslav situation is not relevant to gold?!
