Re: EMC - wasn't it downgraded this morn' ? I don't understand the industry, so I stay away from it. Despite the prophets of gloom, I am very bullish on the market. There is no reason for the markets to correct NOW, just a few days before the earnings of most net companies. I believe its simple profit taking. I took profits along the way as well. And the drop right now feels very healthy to me. I feel bad that I could have got in today at lower prices, but hey, I stopped timing the tops and bottoms loooong ago. take profits when you think you're happy with the returns. Buy when you think the stock has hit a reasonable point. Thats me. It works for me most of the time. The people on margin must be hurting pretty bad today. Since I mostly trade option, nothing more serious than a temp plunge in the account balances.
