re Dell's manuals No I havent "gone through" the manuals, just glanced. There is a separate manual for installing Windows 98 and I went through that as I did it. There is a separate manual for Office 99 and I havent even taken the cellophane off that one. There was a small booklet that came with the CD rom holder but I cant understand where they say things are. I havent read the "main" DELL book yet, and will have to do that this weekend. Must admit its easier to call Techhelp: when I use a new toy I like a little hand holding (figurately speaking). I was wishing DELL would close at 40 but it didnt, did it? Freeus
