Here come those bottom fishing buyers. Take a survey of your favorite stocks. If they are going up or cut their losses sharply at the end I think you can count on a fairly quick rebound.

Marq,

End July of last year, almost 3 earnings back, DELL was at 34.5. The backward PE has significantly improved since then. Apparently, some claim growth has slowed substantially. We will of course come to know of that in 5 weeks. Meanwhile, from SUNW and APPL's reports (I think of DELL as midway between these two companies, with better execution) it seems to me that CPQ is a non-issue. Earnings run, possible, but who knows? Meanwhile the turbulence continues ... maybe the future, indeed, is in aluminium ...
