Well, a good way to look at it is this, do you have an ISP for your computer, and cable for your tv? Most likely you do, cable will integrate WGAT functionality into the next generation tv's (which are digital. Think of the tv as your portal, and you should see the functionality (as well as the marketability) clearly.
The cable companies want this to happen, WGAT will be one of many companies allowing this convergence take place.
