i am really not certain...i do know VISX has certainly taken the initiative in the "refractive surgery industry" with both ophthalmologists and optometrists..THE LASER CENTERS(TLC) also uses mainly the VISX laser and TLC is a large group of clinics with multiple offices throughout the U.S. and CANADA. i just called a friend of mine with TLC and asked them to give me a call about the future outlook of both VISX and BEAM..had to leave a voice mail....hopefully i can give you a much better answer tomorrow or by monday bill
