John,

I only know one old-timer, and this one is pretty good with cyber
trading and I respect his opinion. He is still bullish and has been playing the nets, and alot more aggressive than I am and has done well in this runup. So he does know something, although hes not that great at calling short-term tops.

I dont know if he is going to follow his own advice though. gggggggggg

The DOT index was off 25% from its 52-week high intraday. At the end of the day, it closed down about 18% from the high. Once the internet "earnings" season is behind, worse will come.

The Securities Broker/Dealer (XBD) index is now off 14% from its 52-week high. This is usually an industry group that is coincident with the market.

The Dow Jones Utilities index has been written about ad nauseum since it has broken down a couple months ago. It behaved better today in light of the market recovery.
