David, You would have waited until the last minute too....if you had any clue as to the size of the outgo. I know that all Commission members will be happy to help me this year by sending off their $500 yearly dues checks to me.......as soon as possible....tomorrow morning. I buy IDX at all levels, David......In this case, new money in an IRA lasted about 6 minutes in cash form.....and besides, I think we are going higher....perhaps for good. This time we have positive Compaq news, the end of the quiet period, a broker recommendation......and a very interesting Value Line report.......not to mention some very nice institutional buying. The Yahoo thread is very interesting........IDX is going up, and they are upset........why, I don't know. Are they upset that they did not buy more sooner?....or are they so used to IDX being in the toilet that they can't believe anything good could ever happen? Are they short? Beats me. They own IDX but think it's a terrible stock? Jeesh.....I guess I'm seeing things a bit differently. Yes, I would like to see Rob wrong just once......and for IDX to go to $9.00 tomorrow. I would like to see the scummer shorts squirm a little bit. The reason I believe that it may go up instead of down.... are many, as you fully know. By all rights, IDX should have tanked big, based on the pre-anouncement of -4 cents. In the past, missing by a penny has meant a point or two on the share price. But not this time....IDX went up. Hmmmmm. I think we have a whole new ball game starting up. I think interest is coming into the world of biometrics.......I think the smart money is arriving......The 3 year money. I have no problem with IDX in the teens again. I need to get rid of some of these old cigars. So cheer up everybody......$8.00 is better than $6.00.....If you think IDX is too high, sell some April 7.5s tomorrow morning......have some fun. Heck the government is going to get all your money anyhow. bg ps. 2 posts tonight?....wow.

David, Ohio is IDX/NEC territory........ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Millions Going For Crime Fighting - (COLUMBUS) -- The Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services is awarding two-point-seven-Million-dollars in grants to help fund ten crime-fighting projects. Nearly a- third of the amount is going for upgrading and expanding the Law Enforcement Automated Data System... known as ''LEADS''. It's the radio and electronic system that allows law enforcement agencies to transmit crime-related information around the state. Much of the rest of the money is going to local departments so they can upgrade to live-scan fingerprint technology. Agencies getting the grants have to kick in a 25-percent match. bg
