Just listened to the Conference Call. No slowdown due to Year 2000. A large amount of cross-selling of Norton 2000, PC Anywhere, Win Fax into Corporate markets.

Will post details later. Please keep in mind that 44 cents include amortization of 3.24 million. NETA, for example, reports results without amortization. With amortization out, and a tax rate of 32%, SYMC's net income would have been (3.24*0.68/58) or 3.8 cents higher. In other words around 48 cents.

John Thompson can get options for up to 1% of Symantec's outstanding shares depending on his performance.
