Jim: Your call on XLe was an excellent call. Congratulations. As far as the interest rates are concerned, I have been wondering that myself. When the European central bank cut rates, I posted that question to the MDA thread but hardly had a response. It is posible that the US has to follow but my hunch is that
Greenspan will not use that as an excuse to cut. He will stick by his economic data.

As you can see my signals track the sort term trend very closely and they are fairly timely. I supose there is always room for improvement, but up to now I had a 22% gain since 3/23 on these signals so I'll stick with them.

I have to take off for a couple of hours now. We'll talk more later.

Regards,

Jaime

Hello Jim,

BulLish Support Line (BLSL); BulLish Resistance Line (BLRL); BeaRish Support Line (BRSP) and BeaRish Resistance Line (BRRL).

If it drops down one more box to 102, then we'll have a high pole formation -- and 80% of the time that leads to a sell signal. Decent horizontal support at 97 and 94. Trendline support from the 2nd BLRL at 98 and the BRSL at 94. Still long term bullish (trading above its BLSL) and short term bullish (on a double top buy signal that occurred at 104). Its bullish price objective is 118.

QQQ BULLISH PERCENT CHART

The grand ole P&F Italian master Chartseer has been keeping daily QQQ Bullish chart data since 3/12/99. The daily chart looks like this:

72
70 X
68 X O
66 X O
64 O
62 O X
60 O X O
58 O X O
56 O X O
54 O X O
52 O X O
50 O X O
48 O X O
46 O X
44 O X
42 O X
40 O

I haven't had a chance to confirm the above with Chartseer, so if yours looks different chartseer, let me know. If not, this daily Bullish % chart is in Bear Confirmed risk status. (48% of the 100 stocks that make up the QQQ are on a P&F buy signal. And that means the other 52 are on sell signals.)

My WAG, we'll see a sell signal on the P&F chart.

Take care,

Eric
