I've seen this again and again in TLAB and 9 time out of 10 there is never a rational explanation.

Part of the charm of TLAB I guess.

Agree, so far I've only rarely been wrong when adding to my position on weakness. A good company with great management. I believe the real culprit here is the absence of a split announcement. It may have decreased some confidence in future earnings for some.

Yes, John, I believe that you are correct. My family has had a position in TLAB since 1983, and I have frequently (particularly in the last five years) observed the pre-earnings run-up and announcement decline. Indeed, I believe this has no consequence for the long term investor. Onward and upward.
