luther yow: Sorry to hear that you...bailed out. 3com announced a reorganization 3:30 ET...see PCWeek. Claflin said cash position increased by 300million and that inventories are under control. Depending on after mkt...could see a positive movement on Friday...all depends upon WS and MM viewpoint(s). It is interesting that benahamou is "out of sight" when this announcement was made...guess he is taking in the sights in France hoping that others will see his "absence" as a positive. President Claflin seems to be the "Front Runner" and it is my hope that he will be elevated to CEO sometime in the very near future...the Board has the authority to remove benahamou without cause at any time ! Maybe this reorganization announcement is a prelude of a more aggressive posture by the Board...I certainly hope so ! Enough blood has been shed by 3com to supply every barber pole for the next 100yrs! It amazes me that "Institional Holders" of 3com have not pushed more strongly for benahamou's resignation as well as the removal of the USRX "RAT" from his position on the Board! Casey Cowell needs to be "dumped" as quickly as he dumped his shares...we have a "mole" within 3com and his intentions certainly are a relection of what he intends to do to this Corporation. He stuffed the channel with USRX inventory...insisted on being on the Board as a condition of merger! What can one say ??? This guy was several chess moves ahead of benahamou and others! He literally "ate their lunch" right in front of them and continues to "smile" at the "flyweights" of 3com Corporate! I'm sure that if Claflin had the "authority" he would spend exactly two seconds to say..."Mr. Cowell...you're History"! Good Luck, HK
