I concur with your analysis of PQT and I am somewhat surprised that the market has not reacted more positively to the news. There may be some concern that the sale of a controlling block would reduce the chance of a sale of the entire company at a premium. The sale, if it occurs, could also reduce the flexibility of PQT's management, at least on the short term. Regardless, Jim Porter's three dimensional chess game will continue.

I find your Watch List very useful. You may want to add FCCN to your ISP list. They went public in 1998 and are doing a roll up in the Northeast. They had 15,000 customers as of December 31, 1998, but have signed a letter of intent to acquire 15,000 more. Additionally, they own an e-commerce company, WOWFactor, Inc., which has an on-line directory of over 1.2 million women business owners. Sometime this month, they are scheduled to launch a web site that will provide a comprehensive business to business solutions for women owned businesses. The pertinent press releases can be found at:

The market cap is a bit over $40.0 MM.
