I agree. We had had a small relapse, but right now I'm bullish short term, and purchased a number of things this morning. VECO didn't move, but AMAT and KLAC bounced nicely.

It always worries me when I see unexpected price movements the day before options expiry. It just reeks of manipulation.

Zeev,

In one of your previous posts you alluded to IRA money pouring into the market this week(actually yesterday was the cutoff for '98). Don't you see this as a possible source of strength in the market. If so, when do you think that money will be invested. I would think that much of it will go in today, as the procrastinators waiting until yesterday to make their contributions. But maybe it will take some time for the money managers to get this money into the market. Any thoughts that you have on this would be appreciated. TIA.
