I think it's called manipulation and probably has to do a lot with options expiration. Now how many of the Apr 30 calls did the specialist sell? Another reason could be the specialist see upgrade coming today and thought they'd hit all those sell stops in the last 5 minutes. We'll see what happens today and next week. We lost over a point on 100k shares traded. Doesn't seem justified. I also get closing price variations, from 29.75 to 28.75. iqc.com
