Jenna, I had Lasik surgery two years ago -- previously I wore glasses or contacts since I was a small child (very bad nearsightedness -- very thick eyeglasses).

Now, it is as if my eyes were kissed by God -- perfect vision.
Absolutely amazing procedure.

<offtopic> Jenna have you thought of the new Keravision Intacs procedure? I have been anxiously awaiting the approval of this technique. Procedure is reversible and has produced great results (some patients end up with 20/12.5 vision). Personally I feel better about an implantable device rather than a laser shooting at my eyeball. I'm in the process of setting up an appointment to have the procedure done on myself in LA (Ilive in Tucson,AZ). The Aris Vision Institute in Santa Monica (they were part of the FDA approval process) sent me a fax indicating a surgery is to be performed on the internet @ 12:30 PDT. It is @ www.broadcast.com, select Hi-Tech or Business channel, then choose Live Events to view the procedure.

I hope some of this info. helps you...just trying to give a little back, I've learned so much from you. You can get more info. on Keravision(KERA) on the Yahoo finance site.
