Don't run Windows 98 on a 486, unless you like to wait and wait and wait. Even on a P120 Windows 98 runs VERY slow.

Hi Jeff

Re DDEML.DLL:
This page may be of help to you.
support.microsoft.com

The instructions are written for a Win95 OS with instructions for Win98 tacked on.

I spent some time trying to figure out what you're supposed to do if you're running Win98 and installing from a CD. I finally gave up and reinstalled Win98. Thought that would be painful but it wasn't. Everything seems to be working fine and all the settings were there after the install.

I'll be doing another full backup while things are stable.
