The top item on my SI features wish list is the ability to flag a message as being the last one read, so that only the messages coming after that are reported as new. Some of the threads, and people also, that I bookmark are prolific. In most cases, I like to read all the messages and in sequence. When I fall behind, I'm reluctant to start reading the new messages until I have time to read them all, because I hate to keep track manually where I am on each thread. So I fall further behind in some. Anyone else have this problem?
