I didn't say it was easy. But it would take conviction, instead the military has allowed themselves to be used by politicians in a ill-defined, poorly executed "campaign". Do you see what's happening here? I realize that my views are a minority, but for the first time since Viet Nam, I am starting to have negative attitudes toward the military. The soldiers returning from Viet Nam received public scorn for their part in the war. Right now the polls say that public opinion is still favorable, but I wonder where the numbers will be after 2 or 3 months of a relentless bombing campaign with hundreds or even thousands of civilian casualties.
