I am sorry you got ripped off.

My little nephew saved his money from shoveling sidewalks this winter to purchase a CD player from suzees.aol.com, a husband and wife team from Ft. Collins who put up a lot of stuff on e-Bay.

The CD player we received was a non-operant piece of junk but Jerry Young, the husband of this infamous team, has stiffed me for any settlement and has threatened me and made false allegations against me.

The sad truth is that a lot of unscrupulous jerks are flooding e-Bay and other auction sites with a lot of crap. They get their money and then run away from any settlement with honest, trusting people like you and me.

What to do??? Eventually, e-bay and others will find their business diminishing because of dishonesty of sellers.

Reguarding my post #17. After my complaint about the monitor I purchased, UBID gave me a return number. I shipped the monitor back to them at my expense ($26). Today UBID credited my credit card with the full purchase amount plus their shipping and handling charges.
My total out of pocket is $26.
That is a reasonable resolution to my complaint. I must say they never should have sold a used 8 year old monitor as "refurbished". I wonder how many other people were "lucky" enough to be the winning bidder for one of these monitors
