jjsirius,

yes, I did read the article and frankly, I think the jerk should be fired. He is THE regulator of the industry. Just making a speech is not going to make these pitchmen and women clean up their act. Just listen to CNBC in the morning. ML, MS or any of the influential names can make a stock go up or down as they so desire. I like to see the corresponding trades before and after these upgrades/downgrades.

Hello jjsirius,

Arthur Levitt??

Let's see -- did there used to be a guy with a name similar to that who was the CEO of Merrily Linchya? And, some have claimed that he has a bundle of MER stock in his portfolio (but in a trust -- of course -- so there is no "Conflit of interest"). And, he's been driving the SEC to regulate whatever way Merrily Linchya thinks ought to be the way. And, I think the official Merrily Linchya party line right now is bearish. And, .....

Nah -- probably not.

Take care,

Eric
