Well, if I'm wrong smack away all you want for I'll be buying at the close on 29 April. I don't want to miss the MAY rocket ;-)

Buy and hold is good and it has worked well this decade. In particular MSFT, INTC and MRK for me. However, I remember the years when buy and hold didn't work and if you wanted to make big gains in the market you had to trade, hedge and use the full toolbag. So with about 20% of my portfolio I still work to maintain those skills. One never knows when the pendulum will change. When I get a chance I'll post some numbers that contrast buy and hold vs timing vs sector investing. It is quite eye opening.

Regards

Scarecrow, if you get a piece of it later this month, I'll take some of that humble pie too. ;-)

CMGI is not exactly a pocket rocket, but sure looked awfully strong today. With its high volatility, we are virtually guaranteed of substantial fluctuations in the price of the stock. But hey, what are puts for?

Best regards,

Mark A. Peterson

Does this stock come with a case of rolaids? Wow...what a day...glad I stuck with it and didn't sell. Have never seen an intraday or a week for that matter in a stock like this. This baby is going somewhere...and I'm sticking with it. bobr
