Hi Yamakita,
To determine which version of BM you are running, hit the About link at the top right of your browser window. The latest version is 3.1.1.

When you click "close" and the window shuts down, is it the browser window that shuts down? Is the BrowseMaster icon still on the task bar status area? If so, it sounds like there's a problem with IE5. Have you tried this with another browser?

If you configure BrowseMaster to load fewer messages, does the problem still happen?

Another thing you might try, is to select File/Save As from the browser menu, and save each screen into a file. That way you won't have to keep multiple browser windows open, and might reduce the probabilities of the crash. After you log off, you can then select File/Open, and open the previously saved screens for easy off line reading. If you try this trick with Netscape, you'll have to change the file extension from .pl to .html, otherwise Netscape will not be able to open the file.

Hopefully one of these suggestions will do the trick. If they don't work, and if it's BrowseMaster that's crashing, and not your browser, then I will be glad to help diagnose this problem some more.

Regards,
Craig
