Actually, I had a couple of feverfew plants (great for migraine and attractive as well) that were enamored of Arnold Schonberg (can't do umlauts either) and seemed to yearn toward the speakers, while leafing prodigiously.

Of course, they also seemed to savor Samuel Barber, so what did they know?

I think it would also depend on the plant.
I bet pot plants would grow towards the speakers playing Zeppelin!
