I keep limited funds with datek and have other brokers. Having been burnt badly in the past I place test orders and until the cancellations are instantaneous I place no marketable orders. This morning to my surprise my 9:30 order cancelled in 3 min. My 9:35 order cancelled instantly and I was off to the races. I seldom have problems during the day it is my inability to get rid of stocks I hold over night that have gapped up that turn into losers due to the cancelling problem. Its a shame I have to jerk around placing nonmarketable orders to see if there system is working but as you pointed out the crossing the fingers routine is to expensive. The reason I stay is in the hope that today is the rule and not the exception. There advantages are obvious especially up to the minute acct crediting etc. Goodluck Bill
