mohan...the next wave...

why is an analysis of tech always done in the current moment as if tech is frozen in time...financial people can't grasp a dynamic..
if all is as they say...then why aren't commodores still the pc of choice...or pong and pac man the favorite atari game...the more power and capabilities a computer has...the more applications will be found...home networking is a natural adjunct to the "smart home" of the future....17 inch monitors are standard...what was wrong with 13 inch monochromes..internet will demand even larger monitors, some will respond with the set top box and everything stored on the net.....but would you store your personal data on the net?...plenty of growth, beyond what we can imagine...

Re: Home networking: you may want to see what CSCO's CEO said today.

Mohan, I agree with your assessment. I think this same trend will cause CSCO to be a good buy. Every mother, father, daughter and son will need a router for their home. CSCO is right there, irrespective of whether it be a cable modem or DSL.
