Schwab is great for online trading in 16 months not once was access unavailable in fast market good phone backup service with at most two minute wait dedicated "gang of 12" brokers for active traders liberal margin requirements and maintenance rules cheap trades, but not cheapest (who cares?) not once had a problem personal belief that roots as brokerage house has created advantages in its online brokerage... like good relations with NASD dealers to handle orders... no games with market orders... split order processing for light volume stocks with partial fills Schwab is the best in my opinion heard so many complaints even about Fidelity (poor access, rigid margin reqmts) / jim
