Chuzzlewit, I appreciate the comments, but I would not comment if I had not understood and done my own research. BKS can move AMZN over to the side. Where AMZN has a great advantage is that it is purchasing other companies on a Microsoftic rate... drugs, travel, etc. I believe that in the future BKS will supplant AMZN as no. 1 bookseller. But AMZN is also great by its acquisitions. No, I do not own AMZN because I believe that the bubble can burst at any moment. But AMZN should continue to do just fine while BKS rapidly makes inroads into the online book business. As for your comments on BNBN... It's main goal is to compete with AMZN. Its relationship with Ingram is just icing on the cake.
As for my previous comments, I believe you misunderstood them (they were not worded in the best of fashions). The analyst had stated that AMZN can destroy BKS. I tried to say that BKS will never be destroyed by AMZN because it is too strong.
